What we collect
Account data: your name, email address, postal address (United States or Canada), phone number, and a securely hashed password (we never store the password itself). If you opt in, we may use your phone number to send account verification codes by SMS; you can withdraw that consent anytime on your account page. Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number — we keep only a Stripe customer reference and your subscription status (plan, renewal date). Device data: when you sign in on a TV we record the device platform, app version, last-seen time, and the IP address it last connected from, so you can manage your devices and spot unfamiliar ones. Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, request times) kept for security and troubleshooting. On your TV only: preferences like screen orientation, favorite teams, and a ZIP code for the weather screen are stored locally on your TV, not on our servers. The TV requests weather from Open-Meteo and geocoding from Zippopotam using that ZIP code directly.
What we do with it
We use your data to operate the service: authenticate you, verify your subscription, show live sports content, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads or use advertising trackers.
Cookies
The website sets one cookie: a session credential that keeps you signed in. No analytics or advertising cookies.
Third parties (processors)
We share personal data only with the processors needed to run the service, and with no one else: Stripe, Inc. (payment processing — receives your email and payment details you enter with Stripe directly), and our server/database infrastructure operated for us. From the TV app directly: Open-Meteo and Zippopotam receive the ZIP code you enter, solely to return weather data. Sports data providers receive no personal information. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
Purpose limitation
We use personal data only for the purposes stated here. If a new feature ever needs your data for a different purpose, we will ask for your consent first.
Your rights
You can access and correct your account data on your account page. You may also request a copy of your data, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent at any time by emailing service@puckheadentertainment.com from your account email. Withdrawing consent to data we need to run the service means closing your account.
Data retention & deletion
Account data is kept while your account exists and destroyed without undue delay once no longer needed. On a deletion request we remove your data within 30 days using irreversible deletion, subject only to records we must keep for tax and payment-processing purposes.
Security
All connections use TLS encryption. Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes; device credentials are stored hashed. Database access is restricted and credentialed, and access to personal data is limited to what operating the service requires.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. Minors may use the service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must create and hold the account.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date above.
